What it is

What we do

An aircraft ferry flight is a one-way trip that moves your airplane from where it is to where it needs to be. Nazarov Aviation flies piston and turboprop aircraft for owners, dealers, and buyers anywhere in the United States, and has international ferry experience too. We handle the planning, the weather, the fuel, the permits, and the delivery, start to finish.

It comes down to two jobs:

New-sale delivery

Flying a just-bought airplane to its new owner.

Repositioning

Moving an airplane you already own: in for maintenance or avionics work, for the season, or just coming home.

What we handle, start to finish

  • Planning
  • Weather
  • Fuel
  • Permits
  • Safe delivery

We are not limited to flights inside the US. We have international ferry experience, so if the airplane needs to cross a border, that is a conversation to have, not a reason to look elsewhere.

What we fly

Aircraft we ferry

Owner-flown airplanes, not airliners. If it is the kind of aircraft we broker and manage, it is the kind we ferry.

  • Piston singles and twins (Cirrus, Bonanza, Baron, Cessna, Piper, and similar)
  • Turboprops (King Air, TBM, PC-12, Meridian, and similar)
  • {ADDITIONAL_TYPES_IF_ANY}

Not sure your aircraft is a fit? Call 425-577-2682 or send us the route and the aircraft. Want to know about ratings and experience? See About.

How it works

Four steps from the first message to the handover. You know where your airplane is at every one of them.

01

Tell us the mission

Origin, destination, aircraft type, timeframe, and any specifics (annual status, known squawks, insurance).

02

We plan and quote

A clear, written quote covering the flight, and if the aircraft needs a special flight permit we coordinate that too.

03

We fly it safely

You get departure confirmation, en route updates, and delivery confirmation. No radio silence.

04

Delivered and documented

Aircraft handed off at the destination with the paperwork squared away.

Trust

Why owners trust us

Handing over the keys to your airplane is not a small thing. Here is what you are handing them to.

  • A real pilot with real credentials. Commercial pilot, ASEL and AMEL, with complex, high performance, and high altitude endorsements, and 1,000+ hours total time. Your aircraft is flown by a professional, not handed to whoever was available.
  • Insurance.{FERRY_INSURANCE_DETAIL}
  • Communication the whole way.You always know where your airplane is.
  • An aviation business, not a side gig.Nazarov Aviation also brokers and manages piston and turboprop aircraft, so we understand what your airplane is worth and how to protect it.
One firm

One team, whole deal

Buy it, we fly it home, we manage it. One firm for the whole life of the airplane, and one conversation to set it up.

Buying or selling through Nazarov Aviation? We can broker the deal and deliver the aircraft too, so you are not juggling a separate ferry pilot. See Buy / Acquisition and Sell Your Aircraft.

FAQ

Ferry questions

What owners ask before they hand over the keys.

What is a ferry flight?

A ferry flight is a one-way flight to reposition an aircraft: a new purchase heading home, a sale reaching its buyer, a trip to maintenance, or a seasonal move. It is flown by a pilot hired for that specific delivery.

Do you fly nationwide?

Yes. Ferry service is national, and we deliver to and from airports across the United States. We also have international ferry experience, so if your route crosses a border, ask and we will walk you through what that flight involves.

What does an aircraft ferry cost?

We do not publish rates. Every ferry is quoted on inquiry, so tell us the mission and you will get a written quote.

My aircraft is out of annual or not currently airworthy. Can it still be ferried?

Often yes, with an FAA special flight permit (sometimes called a ferry permit), which authorizes a specific flight of an aircraft that does not currently meet all airworthiness requirements. We help coordinate the permit as part of the job.
